TXTR. by Cantu hosted a Secret Garden Party during Essence Festival in New Orleans, LA. I attend this exclusive event to introduce the full line of TXTR. by Cantu. This is a salon-inspired collection with a foundation in conditioning.
I’m taking you inside the secret garden experience and sharing my thoughts on the new TXTR. by Cantu line.
As a 4c natural and mom to a 4b natural, I find myself constantly looking for natural hair products that will work for both of our hair textures. My daughter’s hair responds better to lightweight products that allow her curls too pop. For me, on the other hand, I typically keep my hair in a protective style; which calls for deep hydration.
TXTR. by Cantu natural hair products are specifically designed for all hair textures. By simply adjusting the amount of product used the desired results would be attainable.
TXTR. has a two-track method to make simply the process. There are products for treating the hair & scalp and the sleek line design for styling.

After a quick twist-out my daughter is raving over the TXTR. by Cantu natural hair line. Her hair responded very well to these products and looks great!
Her favorite product from the line is the Strengthen + Restore Moisture Mask; with this product, she was able to detangle her hair without the use of a comb or bush. The hydrating mask provided the perfect amount of slip reducing shedding and tangles.
Also, the Curls + Coils Defining Cream adds definition without weighing down her curls. After drying her curls were full of body and no residue.
For braids, my go-to products are the Oil + Vitamins Scalp Saver and Shine + Sculpt Control Paste. I love that the oil is soothing without leaving my hair overly greasy. The shine + sculpt control paste is great for taming my edges.
