Discover the perfect summer drink for vodka enthusiasts-the Elderflower gimlet. This recipe, which I stumbled upon during a visit to IKEA, may not sound like the typical summer cocktail origin story, but trust me, it’s a journey worth taking.

IKEA COCKTAIL: ELDERFLOWER GIMLET

The refreshing cocktail recipe card I found next to the DRYCK FLÄDER Elderflower syrup caught my eye. What’s more, it only required four simple ingredients, making it a must-try for someone like me, who appreciates simple cocktail recipes!

Allow me to paint a picture of the Elderflower gimlet, also known as the IKEA summer cocktail; it’s like a mojito but without the mint. I was so taken with this unique flavor that I decided to serve a punch version to thirty of my closest family and friends at a recent garden party. The result? It was an instant hit, proving that this cocktail is a crowd-pleaser!

The base of this cocktail is vodka, but you could easily swap it for gin. For the batch version, I added two cans of Sprite per pitcher. I hope you enjoy this recipe. Follow me on Instagram for more hosting tips!
